Treat the first half as summer: short crossings between air-conditioned spaces, the Deuce and the monorail rather than the walk, and the interior connections between neighbouring resorts doing more work than the map suggests.
The second half opens up. From roughly the last week, walking sections of the Strip becomes reasonable again in the evening.
