If National Day week makes accommodation prohibitively expensive: Hotel pricing spike around Dec 1-3 is real but brief. Arriving Dec 5 or later gives nearly identical weather, similar events calendar (DSF launches Dec 15), and hotel rates 20-30% lower than the National Day peak.
If F1 weekend hotels in Abu Dhabi sell out: The Jumeirah Beach area (JBR, Palm Jumeirah) hotels are significantly less affected than the Yas Island conference circuit. Book Dubai-side beach accommodation if dates overlap with Dec 3-6 race week + use Etihad Rail or 1-hour taxi to Yas Marina Circuit.
