EDC Las Vegas expands to two consecutive weekends in 2027 for the first time in its history: EDC Dusk on 14 to 16 May and EDC Dawn on 21 to 23 May, both at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Passes are sold by weekend or for both, and Camp EDC sells separately. General admission is $479.99 for Dusk, $529.99 for Dawn and $859.99 for both, at the first price tier, all-in with fees but not taxes.
The thing that makes this edition different is that there are two of them. The festival has always been one weekend and is now two consecutive ones, sold separately or together, which turns a weekend event into most of a month for the city around it. The other thing worth knowing before booking anything is that it runs overnight rather than in the evening: the gates open late, the headline sets are in the small hours, and the crowd sleeps through the following day. If you are not attending and you are in a hotel that is hosting it, that is the fact that will affect you.

- Your hotel, unwillingly, if you are not attending. Properties hosting large numbers of festival-goers run to a different clock for those weekends. It is not a reason to avoid the city, but it is a reason to ask before booking.

Passes are sold by weekend, with a combined option covering both, so the first decision is which weekend rather than whether to go. That decision is harder than usual for a festival because the two weekends are separate events with separate line-ups rather than a repeat.
Camping is a separate purchase, goes on sale ahead of general passes and sells out. For an overnight festival at a site this far from the Strip it is worth more than it looks on paper, because it replaces a journey made at five in the morning.
General admission starts at $479.99 for the first weekend, $529.99 for the second and $859.99 for both, with GA+ and VIP above that, up to $2,499.99 for VIP on both weekends. Those are all-in prices with fees included but not taxes, and they belong to the first price tier, which climbs as each one sells out. A $10 deposit starts a payment plan, and passes are sold only through Front Gate Tickets, the festival’s own seller, so a pass offered anywhere else is a risk.

Getting there
Shuttles from the Strip are the standard way in and out and are sold as part of the ticketing rather than arranged separately. They run to the festival’s clock, which means the return journeys are in the early hours and the queues for them are long.
Driving is possible and mostly unwise. The parking is distant, the exit at dawn is slow, and the drive back down the interstate after an overnight festival is exactly the drive nobody should be making.
The two weekends behave identically in this respect, which is the one thing about the expansion that does not change anything: the site, the distance and the overnight rhythm are the same both times.
