From the organiser: the 25th edition, Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 June 2027 at the Parc del Fòrum. The main days are Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 June; Wednesday is a free opening day and Sunday is Primavera Bits, an eight-hour closing session by Richie Hawtin, Four Tet and Dixon. The line-up of 151 acts, announced on 5 October 2026, is led by Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers and Robyn. Transport details on this page are from the previous edition.

Primavera Sound is Barcelona’s biggest music festival: three main days at the Parc del Fòrum on the seafront, with a free opening day before them and an electronic party to close. It sells out, so buy once you know you are going, and plan the way home, because metro line L4 runs all night only on Saturday.

What Primavera Sound actually is

It began as a single day with about a dozen acts and grew into one of the defining events of the European summer, known for putting pop, rap, indie, metal and club music on the same bill. The line-up runs to around 150 acts, balanced between women and men.

The festival lives at the Parc del Fòrum, the vast concrete esplanade where Avinguda Diagonal meets the sea, and it spills well beyond it: smaller shows in venues across the city fill the days before and after.

How the week is laid out

Tickets and what it costs

Full-festival tickets, standard or VIP, cover the whole run from Wednesday to the Sunday party. VIP adds faster entry, the VIP areas and priority booking for the city shows.

The last edition sold out before the gates opened. Tickets live on the organiser’s AccessTicket app, and every attendee, whatever their age, needs one of their own; children can come with an adult.

The bars take cards and phones only. Anyone paying in cash loads it onto the AccessTicket wallet at one of two top-up points on site.

Getting there

Metro line L4 stops at El Maresme | Fòrum, about 150 metres from the entrance. At the busiest moments, Selva de Mar, a twelve-minute walk away, is easier to get into. The metro runs until midnight from Monday to Thursday, until 2am on Friday and all night on Saturday.

The T4 tram stops at Fòrum and Maresme; during the previous festival it ran until midnight on the Wednesday and without a break from Thursday to Sunday.

After the metro stops, the choices are the night buses N6, N7 and N28, the festival’s own shuttle to Plaça de Catalunya at €3 a trip, booked ahead, or the taxi rank on Carrer de Josep Pla, about 400 metres away, where festival staff run the queue through the small hours.
